- Main performance and features of machine tool:
This machine tool is suitable for sharpening straight flute hobs, spiral flute hobs, and worm gear hobs. It can also sharpen similar cutters or tools. It has a processing diameter of up to 300mm and can process 1-99 slots.
The machine tool control system uses the SIEMENS 828D system, with a fully English user interface. Simply input the workpiece parameters, and it can perform grinding fully automatically. The operation is convenient and practical, with no educational requirements for the operator.
This machine tool has the advantages of a wide processing range, strong operational performance, high precision, and low failure rate. It is suitable for sharpening various hobs and other similar cutters in tool factories, as well as in tool workshops of large and medium-sized factories and mines.
The overall layout of the HS300CNC5 five-axis CNC hob grinding machine.
1) Longitudinal X-axis

2. Structural characteristics
1) The layout form where the workpiece rotates while the grinding head moves longitudinally back and forth.
2) Using CNC control, the mechanical structure is simple, without intermediate transmission components or indexing plates. In other words, the spiral and indexing movements of the machine tool are controlled by CNC, eliminating the need for traditional wheel transmission chains or sine bar mechanisms and indexing plates. This allows for rapid adjustment when processing different types of hob cutters, making machine tool operation convenient and highly accurate.
3) Grinding objects: straight flute hob, spiral flute hob, and other similar precision workpieces, cutting tools (materials of various tools include M series high-speed steel, cemented carbide, and S390 powder metallurgy).
4) The working procedure adopts variable programming method, users only need to input corresponding variable parameters according to the different requirements of the hob to be sharpened, and the machine tool can automatically complete precision grinding.
5) The grinding method for sharpening the hob: flat grinding with the grinding head.
6) The processing area is fully enclosed, capable of achieving strong wet grinding.
