KHPP could solve the issue of operator error in gas tungsten arc welding(GMAW/FCAW/MIG/MAG). KHPP is composed of the power supply with integrated computer control and the welding head.
KHPP could process carbon steel, stainless steel , alloy steel, etc.
KHPP Mainly used in oil, gas, water treatment industry, petrochemical industry, chemical industry, construction machinery, power plant and other industries.
KHPP could be used for Tube to tube, tube to elbow, tube to neck flange, tube to Tee joint, tube to concentric reducer, seam on vertical plate and so on, with wire feeding.

3.2 Operation of control system
- On/off button:Press the button for 5 seconds for on and off
- F1 button: Button for the system serial number
- F4 button:F4 button for the screen on/off.
- Current button: increasing by "+", decreasing by "-".

4. Automatic wire feeder system
- The wire feeder application 0.8mm-1.6 mm Dia filling welding wire,up to 300mm Dia
/105mm width wire wheel,and always make sure the melting point of wire and raw material is nearly same when welding
- Attention! You have to check the figure, size of wire feeding wheel and grooves of wire feeding wheel when every time wire change,check whether the wire pipe is matched with the wire. It is necessary to check whether the polarity used is suitable for filling wire or not.
- The operator can adjust the pressure of the wheel the wire feeding wheel mechanical to leading the wire into wire pipe and gun smoothly.
- To clockwise rotate the black pressure adjust knob to add pressure of wire feeding
wheel
- To anti-clockwise rotate the black pressure adjust knob to release pressure of wire feeding wheel
- Adjustment knob carved the pressure adjust scope,higher pressure, more eye-catching scale
- Make sure to set the enough pressure for the strong C.S&S.S filling wire to avoid any wire slip from wire feeding wheel.
- Attention! Over pressure will easy lead to deformation and damage of filling wire,plus easy to damage the drive wheel bearing,it happens to shortening the services life. There are two kinds of different size of groove.The user can turn on the fastening screws of the driving wheel, and the groove needed to rotate the driving wheel. The common grooves are facing out.
5. Option parts: guiding rails
- If the pipe/tank material is carbon steel, and pipe/tank surface is smooth and fluent for welding carriage running, then the guiding rails is not a necessary unit, as an option part, it's up to you but we suggest it.
- If the pipe/tank material is stainless steel, then it must need guiding rails because the welding carriage can't be fixed on stainless steel material directly.
- 5.1) Customized specialized guiding rail: suit for pipes in carbon steel or stainless steel, the guiding rail size is customized depending on pipe diameter, two semi-circles are locked on pipe surface.
- 5.2) Normal flexible guiding rail: suits for large size storage tanks(generally diameter over 1500mm) or steel plate. There are magnetic type for carbon steel material or vacuum type for stainless steel material.

6. Operating process
- Put the welding carriage device on the tube spool or weld position and connect Earth Clamp.
- Find the down button on the remote control panel and press the button when the weld torch 10mm-15mm away form the tube spool or workpiece, making the weld torch up and down
- Operate the Oscillation button to check the welding torch Oscillation width when the joint position, and adjust the Oscillator speed button /Oscillator width button to lead the torch right position. Left/right residence button to adjust the welding voltage and current, also get the right speed of welding carriage which required by the technical parameter
- The width of the pipe bevels can tell you if you need to oscillate the torch or not(not required when the very narrow bevel)
- Press the corotation Reversal function button to decide the welding direction.
- Press the start button after the carriage moving
- Adjust Oscillation parameter and the attitude of welding torch first, then make the parameter of the carriage is right and start moving, the last, adjust the Voltage & Current and start welding
- Always keep attention the torch is alignment of joint center or not when welding and fix them if any deviation
- If the torch deviation to left, press the right button and make the gun move to the right, same as the torch deviation to right.
- Move the welding carrier and clean the surface when done.
7. Operating Programming
7.1 Welding torch position: Vertical and downward sloping to the tube spool or welding position
7.2 Oscillation and welding
- Strictly require to adjust the Oscillation width and speed first before welding, and check the position of oscillation is match the width of bevel or not, normally we will leave a wire Dia width for both joint gap sides when cap welding, under normal circumstances, the filling thickness of MIG welding is about 2mm, if the thickness of cap welding is over 2mm ,then the Oscillation width should not over the bevel width.
- When the filling bevel is narrow, first filling suggest start with the narrow swing and low voltage & current.
- The left and right residence time of the Oscillation is based on the melting of molten iron in the furnace bath to the edge of the weld. And the time of left and right residence is not more than 100 [1 seconds]. The adjustment range of the left and right stopping time set by the machine factory is 0 - 150 [two] Second.
