In order to weld the interior partitions of the box girder tightly with the surrounding area, when assembling the partitions, a vertical electric slag welding gap required for welding is reserved between the partitions and the surroundings.
After the bottom is welded, the box girder is conveyed to the cantilever-type vertical electric slag welding machine frame through a roller conveyor.
The vertical electric slag welding machine hung on the cantilever frame performs vertical electric slag welding at the pre-drilled holes on the workpiece.
The cantilever frame can move freely in the longitudinal direction of the workpiece.
