1. For cutting square shaped holes in undersized round machine holes.
2. Used to re-cut a round hole into a hole having a square shape in a single pass through the workpiece.
3. The design allows broach to start in a plain round hole and cut a precisely shaped square hole in a single pass through the hole.
4. Designed to be used manually with an arbor pass to produce the square holes.
